About the Founder

Dr. Agaezi Sonya is the founder and CEO of Monacs and has been involved in healthcare for 3 decades. She is a highly skilled, knowledgeable, and proficient Healthcare worker. She has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, leadership, and management.

Dr. Sonya started her healthcare career with a BSc in Microbiology. She holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration with a minor in Organizational Leadership and change management.  Postgraduate Certificates in Integrative & Functional Medicine (CIFM); Diabetes Educator (DE), Exercise Science and Lifestyle Management (ESLM). She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Health Science with a concentration in Global Health. She holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Global Health-Global Health Delivery from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health


Dr. Sonya is a frequent speaker, Keynote speaker, and presenter at various international Medical Conferences, Organizations, and community events. She has several published abstracts and full articles in pain management, Fibromyalgia, and Diabetes Management.

Dr. Sonya is an active community member who strives to teach and promote the benefits of health and wellness care. She truly believes that optimum health and wellness is the ultimate unique blend of mind, body, and spirit. Therefore, when the mind and bodywork are harmonious, optimum health is achieved. She is committed to providing quality and is dedicated to giving you individualized care to improve your overall health. In her spare time, She loves traveling, Gardening, and spending time with her daughter
